The pandemic presented the opportunity to do something unconventional for my Capstone project.

Inspired by the novel The Humans, the film centers on an alien figuring out the human experience. Aside from stock footage, the entire movie was shot on an iPhone 12 Pro.

The film has been screened internationally and received the critic’s choice award from the Iowa Independent Film Festival.

My vision was to create an ideal ad for the main demographic of my favorite restaurant. The customer base will be apparent within the first few seconds.

Do you ever come across movies with big talent or exciting plots that you never heard of?

For better or worse, it is our mission to seek and discuss the films that slip through the cracks.
