Rather than a typical guest speaker event, we invited the alum to start the night with a DJ set, then moved into a lively interview and a Q&A with the audience. This new format brought in our department’s biggest crowd yet and raised the bar for our future events.

We launched a student newsletter that brought the most exciting program updates into one place. Each issue began with a story highlighting a student’s success in their business and creative efforts, helping readers discover new academic and career opportunities.
Community Pop-Ups

We wanted to reach students beyond our monthly mixers, so we started hosting lively, longer-running themed pop-ups that boosted participation. Some dropped by for a quick treat, while others stayed with friends to enjoy their personalized goodie bags.
How sustainable can you get? We designed the mixer that made as many touchpoints as possible earth-friendly, then used a quick pledge wall and stickers to encourage conversation and action.
